As part of our ongoing efforts to serve our clients, PCCI will also provide briefings via email to staff and clients focused on resources and services designed to address housing stability and emergency household needs. While we are doing our best to verify every resource to ensure that the services listed (food pantries, household supplies and so forth) are in fact open and available as listed – we strongly encourage you to call first and verify before visiting in person.

Internal Revenue Service (IRS)
The IRS is committed to distribute the Economic Impact Payments (or stimulus payments) as soon as possible. The payments are automatic for most taxpayers. No action is needed by taxpayers who filed tax returns in 2018 and 2019 and most seniors and retirees. For security reasons, the IRS plans to mail a letter to the taxpayer’s last known address within 15 days after the payment is paid on how the payment was made and how to report any failure to receive the payment. If a taxpayer is unsure they’re receiving a legitimate letter, the IRS urges taxpayers to visit IRS.gov first to protect against scam artists. To find out if you are eligible or have any additional questions, please visit: https://www.irs.gov/coronavirus/economic-impact-payment-information-center
Please note that these briefings are not intended to replace other COVID-19 related matters, nor provide health, safety, and wellness resources.
