Clayton County Public Schools

The district will serve grab-and-go breakfast and lunch meals at 21 sites starting Wednesday. Students can now pick up both breakfast and lunch between 9 a.m. and 12 p.m. at the following sites:
Church Street Elementary, Fountain Elementary, Huie Elementary, King Elementary, Lee Street Elementary, Lovejoy High, Morrow Middle, Mt. Zion High, Pointe South Elementary, Tara Elementary, West Clayton Elementary, Edmonds Elementary, Jackson Elementary, Lake Ridge Elementary, Eddie White Academy, Rex Mill Middle, Kendrick Middle School, North Clayton Middle, Forest Park High, Mundy’s Mill High and Riverdale High. Mobile food pantries will also be available on March 20th at 4 p.m. at Forest Park Middle School and March 27 at 9 a.m. at King Elementary. Grocery services through the Atlanta Food Bank will also be available every Friday from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Huie Elementary, King Elementary, Lovejoy High, Tara Elementary and West Clayton Elementary.

DeKalb County Schools

The district expanded today to 30 meal distribution locations and said it will also begin bus distribution. All DCS student can get a free bagged lunch daily from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the following schools and recreation centers:
John R. Lewis Elementary School, Avondale Elementary School, Stepensen Middle School, Freedom Middle School, Miller Grove Middle School, Peachcrest Elementary School, Cedar Grove Elementary School, Cross Keys High School, Sequoyah Middle School, Idlewood Elementary School, Tucker Middle School, Lithonia High School, Marbut Elementary School, Clarkston High School, Jolly Elementary School, Chapel Hill Middle School, Narvie J. Harris Elementary School, Bethune Middle School, Canby Lane Elementary School, McNair Middle School, Early Learning Center, Gresham Recreation, Exchange Intergenerational, Redan Recreation, Tobie Grant RC, N.H. Scott RC, Lucious Sanders RC, Mason Mill RC, Hamilton RC and Midway RC.
The district announced Tuesday they will also add school bus deliveries for students in neighborhoods beginning March 23.

Douglas County School System

Beginning Wednesday, March 18, meals for children ages 0-18 will be distributed at the following high schools: Alexander, Chapel Hill, Douglas County, Lithia Springs and New Manchester High Schools. Douglas County School Nutrition will distribute breakfast and lunch for five days for children every Wednesday until school resumes. Children must be present in the car to receive the meals.

Gwinnett County Schools

68 schools will provide lunch for pick-up for kids 18 and under from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. through March 20.
In addition, school buses will deliver meals at bus stops between 11 a.m. and noon in the following clusters– Berkmar, Central Gwinnett, Discovery, Meadowcreek, Norcross, Shiloh, and South Gwinnett– and for the following schools– Alcova ES, Arcado ES, Berkeley Lake ES, Chesney ES, Duluth MS, Harris ES, Jackson ES, Knight ES, Lovin ES, McKendree ES, Northbrook MS, and Sycamore ES. The buses will be making stops at their regular bus stops between 11 a.m. and noon. Pick up-locations are at:

Fulton County Schools

Families can drive through and pick up meals for children and their family members at these six schools from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Monday, Wednesday and Friday: Lake Forest Elementary School, Mimosa Elementary School, Haynes Bridge Middle School, Tri-Cities High School, Banneker High School, and Langston Hughes High School.

Henry County Schools

Henry County Schools and the School Nutrition Department will be offering free take-home meals during the current school closure. Starting Wednesday, March 18, families will be able to pick up lunch for that day and breakfast for the following morning for their student(s) (regardless of the school they attend in Henry County Schools) at one of the following locations from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.: Locust Grove Elementary, Hampton Middle School, McDonough Middle School, Stockbridge Middle School.

Rockdale County Schools

RCPS will deliver meals on weekdays starting Tuesday, March 17, 2020 to children age 18 and under in Rockdale County neighborhoods while school buildings are closed during the Independent Learning Days. Meals will be delivered between 10:50 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. via RCPS school bus. Look for the bus and listen for the horn! Be sure to let the lunch bus know of any food allergies. Meals must be picked up at one of the delivery locations (not at Heritage High or Salem High, where the meals are prepared) and must be picked up by the child or with a child present. NEW Information for filing for unemployment

In response to the recent development of COVID-19, the Georgia Department of Labor (GDOL) is temporarily suspending in-person requirements for services provided by the agency. The GDOL is providing online access to unemployment services via their website at https://dol.georgia.gov/online-services
