Our Services
Here are the services we provide to move people into appropriate housing as efficiently as possible.
The first step with every client is a thorough assessment of the individual or family’s history and current situation to determine what is best for the client and how we can help. The assessment addresses income and budgeting, housing history, physical & mental health, accessibility requirements, transportation needs, and other areas.
Using the completed assessment, one of PCCI’s dedicated Housing Coordinators will clarify any gaps and discuss individual needs. This may include offering suggestions related to potential housing options and initiating a timetable for a housing placement plan.
PCCI provides advocacy for clients with higher barriers to housing stability and extremely low incomes to ensure Fair Housing opportunities and connections to affordable housing options within their financial means.
With experienced knowledge of a vast array of housing settings, an established landlord portfolio, and access to the housing resources registered on the Georgia Housing Search database, we are able to offer each client a variety of available housing settings for consideration.
With an exceptional track record of integrity, PCCI uses its relationships with landlords and property management firms to advocate for its clients best interests, including negotiating move-in costs, securing admission appointments, and responding to landlord concerns.
Based on our program requirements and the unique needs of each household, PCCI may provide financial assistance to cover move-in costs, deposits, and short term rent and/or utility assistance.
For every individual and family placed into housing, PCCI has scheduled follow-up services, including making sure the client(s) are still in housing and making progress on goals.
